Japanese Magnum member Hiroji Kubota was one of a few photojournalists to be given the opportunity to work repeatedly in North Korea from the late 1970s onwards, when the nation was under the rule of Kim Il-Sung. The photograph on offer shows celebrations for Kim Il-Sung's birthday at the stadium named after him, which seats more than a hundred thousand people.
